Gooey— a favorite of Lizzo, Jay Rayner, and countless Mancunians— has become Manchester's top independent bakery, with over 99,000 followers and a reputation for stunning, Instagram-worthy desserts. Fight Or Flight Studio has been a key partner in Gooey’s journey from the start, helping to refine their positioning, shape their brand identity, and orchestrate local pop-up branding.
From the very outset, it was evident that the branding needed to exude instant Instagram appeal, coupled with an onomatopoeic essence. Maintaining simplicity in our branding approach has allowed us to infuse creativity into every new product or event with a sense of playfulness and flair.
As Gooey skyrockets to stardom, they’re now collaborating with some of the UK’s biggest brands and stars. Working alongside Gooey has given us the opportunity to contribute to events with names like REPRESENT and even Marcus Rashford’s birthday.
